Everything the Initiative has done so far, in the open.
We run a free coaching programme, so the least we can do is publish what comes out of it — including the parts that do not flatter us. Every figure below is counted straight off the record the platform keeps for itself. Nobody edits them, and they are allowed to go down.
The number that matters
— of — skills people finished
are still verified today.
Anyone can report how many people completed something. A completion is a fact about last Tuesday. This is a fact about this morning: the coach keeps checking, and a skill somebody has stopped being able to demonstrate quietly drops out of the count on the left.
Which means this figure can fall, and sometimes does. We publish it anyway, because a training number that can only ever go up is not measuring anything.
The ledger
What the programme has actually done
Counts, not scores. There is not a percentage anywhere on this page and there never will be — a percentage implies a precision the evidence does not support, and the same rule applies to strangers as to the person being coached.
Not enough people yet to publish numbers worth reading.
The programme opens in batches, and we hold every aggregate back until at least 50 people have enrolled. Two reasons, and the second is the one that actually binds us: small numbers argue against us anyway, and on a cohort of a dozen, "one person is learning Handling a Difficult Customer" plus a post on a professional network is enough to work out who. Nobody signed up to be identifiable in a statistic.
So this page stays honest and slightly boring for a while. Come back once the first cohort has been coached — or be in it.
People enrolled
Everyone who has taken a place. Free, no card, no employer needed.
Learning right now
Coached in the last 30 days, rather than signed up and gone quiet.
Coaching sessions
Whole conversations, finished. About eight minutes each, on a phone.
Hours coached
Talking time, with paused minutes taken back out of it.
Assessments made
Real situations put to people, judged against a fixed rubric, on the record.
Concepts verified now
Individual skills-within-a-skill somebody can demonstrate today.
People holding a verified skill
At least one skill finished end to end, and still standing.
Sessions this week
The last seven days, so you can see whether this thing is alive.
On offer
What people are learning
Skills that belong to the person who learned them — the sort of thing a job assumes you picked up somewhere and never actually teaches you. Everyone on the programme is enrolled in all of them, so there is no "enrolled" figure per skill to report; they are listed in the order they were published, never ranked, and nobody is compared with anybody.

Concepts— Verified now—"Verified now" is a live count and it moves in both directions. A skill that somebody finished in March and has not touched since will leave that column before it leaves their memory, which is rather the point of checking.
Method
Where these numbers come from
Worth two minutes, because a dashboard is only as good as its worst definition — and most of the ones you have been shown were assembled by somebody with an incentive.
Counted, not estimated
Every figure is a count of rows the platform wrote while doing its job: sessions that ended, judgements that were made, standings as they read right now. Nothing is sampled, projected or annualised.
Recomputed on a clock
The snapshot is rebuilt on a schedule and served to everyone identically, so two people comparing screens see the same thing. That is also why refreshing does not make the numbers twitch.
The same rule as the learner sees
"Verified" here is decided by exactly the function that decides it on a learner's own screen. There is no second, friendlier definition kept for the marketing page.
Held back while the cohort is small
Below fifty enrolments nothing is published at all. A count taken over a dozen people is both unconvincing and, with a little effort, a name.
And what is deliberately missing
- No percentages, anywhere. Not completion rates, not pass rates, not a retention figure with a percent sign after it. The platform does not show a learner a score, and it does not show you one either.
- No names, and no leaderboard. There is no ranking of people on this programme, publicly or privately. Comparing strangers is a different product with different consent behind it.
- Nothing anybody said to the coach. Answers, mistakes and misconceptions never leave the learner's own account. The counters here know how many judgements happened, not what was in them.
- No testimonial doing a number's job. If a figure is not here, it is because we cannot yet count it honestly — not because it was disappointing.
If you have already asked for a place
Where you are in this
Places open in batches, because every conversation on this programme costs real money to run and we would rather coach a few hundred people properly than throttle a few thousand. You will get an email when your batch opens — one email, not a sequence.
Until then this page is the honest status update: when the counters above start moving, the cohort you asked to join is the reason. And if you would like to be coached alongside somebody you actually work with, send them the link. Two people learning the same skill on the same shift is worth more than either of them doing it alone.
